Thank you Philly voters for awarding us the Best Cajun Restaurant title in 2021, 2022 & 2023!
Chef Beck is Philly's Cajun/Creole King. His joint prepares food with authentic ingredients shipped direct from The Big Easy: N'Awlins. I'm doing chicken & shrimp gumbo for breakfast/lunch. The gumbo here is just as good as in Orleans or Lagos.

Beck’s is THE best stop in the Reading Terminal Market. Try the Trainwreck sandwich. It truly is a mix of Philly and New Orleans. Their customer service is exceptional. If my husband was left to his own devices, this is the only place he would have ordered from our entire trip.

Outstanding food. Perfect service
I had the shrimp platter with red beans and rice. Very well done. Red beans and rice was excellent. Large portion of food, reasonably priced. Sat at counter. Staff very helpful and super attentive.
I really enjoyed the ambiance.

Pretty solid Po' Boy sandwich, as this was one of many stops in Reading Terminal and I'm pretty discriminating on cajun food. Well done!

The food was very high-quality, and the customer service was great. Would recommend to anyone for some good Cajun food along with a great scenery.

Closest thing in the city to Nola style cooking. I usually don't eat corn bread but somehow I finished both pieces here, yumm! The fried fish and mac/cheese balls were 🔥🔥

One of our favorite places to eat in Philadelphia is Beck's. I'm hooked on the Train Wreck, their NOLA version of the Philadelphia cheesesteak.
Today's meal was exceptional. We ordered the Etouffée over jambalaya with toasted cornbread and the fried catfish platter with a side of red beans and rice. Great taste

Today's meal was exceptional. We ordered the Etouffée over jambalaya with toasted cornbread and the fried catfish platter with a side of red beans and rice. Great taste with just the perfect amount of heat.
Service, as usual, was friendly and efficient. It's always busy, but it's worth the wait.
There's no place that's more fun for lunch than the Reading Terminal, and Beck's is where I go most of the time.

The Blackened Chicken Alfredo is amazing. Easily top 5 most favorite foods ever. literally ever. everything we've eaten there was mint. the Beck's Bread Pudding w/ Vanilla Whiskey Sauce is so creamy and full of flavor. sinful.

Bourbon street breakfast w Jambalaya— incredibly filling! The jambalaya base with the sauce on top was just incredible. Very rich and tasty. I mixed in the cornbread which was a nice addition as well. Boyfriend got blackened catfish po boy which I had a bite of. Also delicious.

I love Cajun Food so I decided to stop at Beck's Cajun Cafe for lunch. I ordered the Jambalaya and cornbread. The entree was just spicy enough and the cornbread was very tasty. Whenever I am in Philly, I know where to get the best Cajun Food, Beck's Cajun Cafe.
Try it yourself.

GREAT Shrimp Po Boy and Cajun Fries. The Po Boy was incredible. Shrimp fried perfectly, FRESH lettuce, tomato, pickle and creole mayo on a great baguette. Seriously awesome. Then the cajun fries … crispy french fries with jalapeño peppers and sweated onions. And the dipping sauce is no joke. Counter seating or take out. I sat at the counter, good service and plenty of hot sauce available. Would definitely do again … as their other stuff looked great too. Jambalaya, muffaletta, etouffee, bread pudding etc.
